7.4 Limited is looking for an experienced medical writer to join a major cardiology account with multiple work-streams. The role will involve a mix of strategic input, quality control, and active writing (proportion of each will vary).
The position would be ideal for an experienced Senior/Principal Medical Writer looking to develop their career further. Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years’ writing experience in a medical communications agency environment and be confident in liaising with clients and physicians. The successful applicant will be required to review the work of the existing, experienced writers on the account for scientific accuracy, style, and story flow – ensuring quality while helping to develop the writers’ skills. To this end, candidates should be able quickly to develop therapy expertise and marketplace awareness.
The role will involve having an overview of all ongoing projects (although the existing writers have responsibility for their respective work-streams) and an understanding of how these fit together to achieve the client’s strategic goals. The successful applicant will work closely with the Account Managers/Directors to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality projects, and will also input into tactical plans and proposals for future projects.
